The Toffees fan favourite is on loan at the Premier League club from Barcelona until the end of the season.

Everton’s on-loan midfielder Andre Gomes has admitted that he is “very happy” at the Premier League club but says he will decide on his future at the end of the season.
The Barcelona ace, reportedly valued at £40million (Liverpool Echo), has made 22 Premier League appearances for the Toffees this season and has impressed both the fanbase and first-team manager Marco Silva.
However, as things stand, Gomes’s loan will expire at the end of the season and he will return to Camp Nou in the summer, though some supporters have urged the club to get their chequebook out.
Indeed, after his debut at the heart of the midfield in Everton’s 2-0 win against Crystal Palace last October, some fans compared Gomes to Mikel Arteta, one of the club’s most cherished players of recent times.
Speaking ahead of Everton’s Premier League meeting with Chelsea at Goodison Park on Sunday, the summer deadline day arrival made his feelings known about how he feels to be at the club, but remained coy so as to “respect everybody”.
As quoted by Sky Sports News, the 25-year-old said: “I am enjoying playing for Everton and enjoying my life here but I have to wait til the end of the season. I am one of the people who can decide the future but I am still a Barcelona player and I have to respect everybody.”
Some fans had their say on Twitter following Gomes’s comments:
