Everton won against Huddersfield Town at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday.
Everton fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Ashley Williams against Huddersfield Town.
Williams featured for Everton in the Championship game against Huddersfield at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Wales international central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the home team won 2-0.
The 33-year-old centre-back has not been in great form so far this season, and his performances, both in the Premier League and in the Europa League, have left much to be desired.
Against Huddersfield on Saturday afternoon, though, Williams played well, marshalled the backline, and was a rock, enabled the Toffees to pick up maximum points against relegation-threatened Huddersfield.
Everton fans have been critical of Williams’ performances in recent weeks (click here and here to read more), but they were pleased to see him play well against Huddersfield.
