The Wales international centre-back endured a hugely frustrating evening and was one of the worst players on the pitch.
Williams’s performances so far this season have been hugely disappointing, and he seems to be struggling at the moment.
The Welshman has been on the books of Everton since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Premier League rivals Swansea City for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £12 million.
