Everton want Armando Broja and actually want to sign him permanently this summer rather than just a loan deal for the Chelsea striker.
The Toffees will be trying to spend wisely this summer after some expensive misfires in the transfer market in recent years.
The sale of Richarlison to Tottenham Hotspur certainly helps Everton’s bank balance, but not their strike force.
Frank Lampard will be keen on making additions to his attack with both wingers and striker bound to be on the wish list.
One avenue for Lampard could be to seek a favour from former club Chelsea – and he seemingly fancies a Blues attacker.
Everton want Armando Broja
Everton continue to be linked with Chelsea striker Armando Broja, who spent last season on loan at Southampton.
Branded ‘devastating’ by Albania coach Sergio Porrini, Broja scored six times in 32 Premier League games for Southampton and heads back to Chelsea with his future unclear.
The Albanian international could be sold or loaned out again this summer with various Premier League teams interested.
Newcastle United are confident of securing a loan deal according to The Northern Echo, but Everton cannot be ruled out.
The Daily Mail claim that Everton have joined West Ham in making it clear that they would be keen on signing Broja permanently.

Everton seemingly want to reinvest some of the Richarlison money in Broja, believing that he can provide some goalscoring help for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
This may now come down to how Chelsea view Broja’s future.
If Chelsea don’t think Broja has first-team prospects at Stamford Bridge, they may well look to cash in and sell this summer – and help out their former star Lampard in the process.
If Chelsea do believe that Broja can play in their first team, they may be minded to give him that loan move to Newcastle.
Further talks are planned with Broja and his representatives, with Everton no doubt tracking the situation very closely.
