Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb report that Europa League champions Eintracht Frankfurt are leading the way to sign striker Paul Onuachu – amid reports Everton, West Ham, Aston Villa and Manchester United all want the lofty forward.
Onuachu, 28, has been on fire once again for Genk this term – scoring 15 goals in 21 games. The Nigeria ace has an incredible record of 83 goals in 133 games for the Belgian side. He has also laid on 10 assists in that time for Genk.
Jeunes Footeux report this month that Premier League quartet Aston Villa, Everton, Manchester United and West Ham want him. A fee between £17.5million and £21.5million is necessary to land him – even if his contract ends in 2024.
However, it appears Onuachu is on his way to Frankfurt. Talks are underway for Onuachu to join the Europa League winners, and the striker is keen on a move. A move to England now looks unlikely for the talismanic ace this month.

Frankfurt leading way to sign Onuachu amid Everton and Villa reports
Since the initial interest in Onuachu, United have signed Wout Weghorst – likely to have ended their interest in a striker. Weghorst, of course, is similar to Onuachu in being a target man. West Ham have lured Danny Ings to London.
That has left Villa light in attack, while Everton are also in need of a striker. If the Toffees do any business in the next few days could be down to whether they bring in a new manager. Frank Lampard is on the brink at Goodison Park.
Onuachu is a top striker and if given the right service, he will score goals. But the chances of him starting over Dom Calvert-Lewin, or Ollie Watkins, seems unlikely. He might have been used more as a plan B striker. Frankfurt, then.
