Chris Eubank Jr. is on the verge of what could be one of the most significant fights of his career.
His rematch with Conor Benn comes after their first clash in April, which was widely regarded as one of the year’s standout bouts.
The second meeting between Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn took place at the same venue as their first encounter – London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Benn didn’t come away with a win, but he did benefit financially when Eubank Jr. missed weight and was fined.
This time around, both men made weight without issue, though there were still some final details to sort out before fight night arrived.
Chris Eubank Jr. was just under the rehydration limit before the Conor Benn rematch
Chris Eubank Jr. is feeling good about his chances to hand Conor Benn a second career loss when they meet again this November. The weight limit was a major topic of discussion before both fights, with strict terms in place for each one.
Eubank Jr. missed weight by just 0.05 pounds in their first fight back in April, resulting in a $500,000 fine.

But he did clear the rehydration clause, which meant he couldn’t gain more than ten pounds between the Friday weigh-in and a second check on fight day.
For the rematch, both fighters made weight on 14 November. Even though Eubank Jr. weighed in lighter than Benn, they still had to meet the same rehydration rule.
Eubank Jr. posted on social media earlier today to show he stayed within the ten-pound limit and confirmed that Benn also met it, making the fight official.
Conor Benn rules out trilogy with Chris Eubank Jr. regardless of rematch outcome
Even if Conor Benn levels the score with Chris Eubank Jr. this weekend, he’s made it clear that a third fight isn’t on the cards.
If their rematch is anything like their first meeting, there’ll be plenty of calls for a trilogy, but Benn isn’t interested in dragging out the rivalry any further.
Speaking to Carl Froch ahead of Saturday night, Benn said: “It wouldn’t mean a trilogy, for sure. No, no, no. Get back down to my weight… My next fight is scheduled for 147. I want to get on with my career.”
Benn has gone the distance at middleweight once before, and although he lost that night back in April 2025 by majority decision, there are lessons that he will have learned from this experience and can carry into this second meeting.
