Arsenal handed a debut to Ethan Nwaneri in their Premier League game against Brentford this afternoon.
Nwaneri came on as a substitute for Fabio Vieira in the second minute of injury time in the London derby.
The teenager is 15 years, five months and 23 days old at the moment.
He is the youngster ever Premier League player.
That’s amazing.
Absolutely amazing.
The previous record for the youngest ever Premier League debutant was held by Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott, who made his first appearance in the top flight of English football at 16 years, 30 days for Fulham.
Arsenal Youth reporter Jeorge Bird has posted a tweet explaining the kind of player that Nwaneri is.
Jeorge Bird is a well-known and well-respected reporter on Arsenal youth football, and we believe that the Gunners fans will find his insight and knowledge of Nwaneri very useful.

Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri’s attributes
Arsenal teenager Nwaneri must be really very good for manager Mikel Arteta to hand him a debut.
