Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield has raved about his new Ibrox teammate Aaron Ramsey on the Gers’ official Twitter page.

Arfield has said that Ramsey, who joined Rangers on loan from Juventus, is a terrific player.

The 33-year-old Canadian midfielder believes that Ramsey will help Rangers enormously when he is fully match-fit.

Ramsey joined Rangers on loan from Italian giants Juventus on January transfer deadline day.

The 31-year-old midfielder is scheduled to stay at Rangers until the end of the season.

Aaron Ramsey big in Rangers v Celtic title race

In our view, Ramsey could play a big role for Rangers in their quest to win the Scottish Premiership title ahead of Celtic this season.

The Gers won the league title last season under then manager Steven Gerrard, now at Aston Villa.

And now Giovanni van Bronckhorst is trying to win the league with the Ibrox club.

We saw in midweek how Celtic blew away Rangers.

Ramsey did not play for the Gers.

Now, of course, we cannot judge a team based on just one defeat, but it was clear against the Hoops that Rangers will have a tough fight on their hands to win the title.

So, in our opinion, Ramsey will be massive for Rangers.

The Wales international is a very good and dynamic midfielder who can drive a team forward with his runs.

And Ramsey has a lot of experience which Rangers need now.
