The Arsenal transfer rumour mill has been in full flow this week, and for once, a lot of it has been positive.
From talk of a bid seemingly rejected for Ben White to rumours ramping up about someone like Albert Sambi Lokonga.
It seems as though the Gunners are looking to put their foot on the transfer pedal this summer after a recently abject Premier League campaign.
Another name that has been bandied about has been Wolverhampton’s midfield technician, Ruben Neves, who is currently on Euro 2020 duty with Portugal.
The 24-year-old is an individual with high technical quality and vision, with his current teammate, Conor Coady, claiming in 2018 that he is ‘the best player I have played with’, as he told the Independent.
And that’s despite the England international coming through Liverpool’s academy and playing a few games for the Anfield giants.
“He’s absolutely magnificent, the best player I’ve ever played with,” said Coady. “He’s a spectacular player, he really is.
“To come from another country at such a young age and have the impact he’s had, he’s a role model for young players to follow.
“I’d heard a lot about him before he came to us because there were stories in the papers about Liverpool being interested in him and obviously I still watch what happens at Liverpool. It’s a privilege to have him in our team.”

Neves isn’t a player who is box-to-box or someone who makes attacking runs off the ball into the penalty area.
But he loves dictating the game from deep, pinging passes out to the flanks and playing those forward and hurtful passes into the forward areas.
Plus, he is a scorer of great goals and has the textbook technique to fire a ball into the back of the net from distance.
Arsenal’s midfield needs refreshing and adding someone like Neves to their squad would push them towards the right direction, but more is still needed.
