A round up of Liverpool’s summer transfer news ahead of what promises to be a busy summer transfer window at Anfield.
With Arne Slot replacing Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, this summer looks set to be a busy one in terms of incomings and outgoings with the club seemingly keen on key additions.
Here are four of the latest names who have been mentioned with a move to Anfield.

Federico Chiesa
The first name on this list who is attracting the attention of Liverpool, as well as Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United, is Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, who has just 12 months on his contract at the Turin giants.
HITC have reported that contract talks between Chiesa and Juventus has stalled which has led to Liverpool and Newcastle being made aware of the 26-year-old’s potential availability.
The likes of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also among those who have previously shown an interest in Chiesa.
For Liverpool, the future of Egyptian talisman Mo Salah is unclear with the Saudi Pro League retaining their interest in the forward which would potentially pave the way for a move for Chiesa.
Leny Yoro
Next on the list of potential incomings at Anfield is French defender Leny Yoro, who appears to be hot property for several of Europe’s top clubs.
HITC have reported that Liverpool are working hard to convince the defender that Anfield would be the best place for his development but Yoro’s preference is for a move to Real Madrid.
Virgil Van Dijk is set to remain at Anfield to play under fellow countryman Slot but Joel Matip’s future is less clear, whilst Ibrahima Konate has struggled majorly with injuries this season.
Yoro has just 12 months left on his contract which makes a move this summer more likely but the teenager may choose to stay in France for one more season before moving to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Goncalo Inacio
Another highly rated centre-back who has been linked with a move to Merseyside is Portuguese defender Goncalo Inacio, who has a relatively reasonable release clause inserted into his contract.
The release clause inserted into the Sporting Lisbon defender’s contract is understood to be around £51 million, which may well be slightly cheaper than what it would cost to sign Yoro.
Since being introduced to the first team, Inacio has clocked up over 100 appearances for the Portuguese giants. Portuguese outlet Record has claimed that Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in the defender.
Bryan Mbeumo
The final name on our list is Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo. In an interview with French outlet L’Equipe, the Frenchman admitted that the time may be right for a new challenge.
HITC reported last week that Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle and Liverpool were made aware of this fact through intermediaries but the Bees would demand in excess of £50 million.
It seems a new forward is high on the list of targets for the Reds and Mbeumo would provide a good option if one of Liverpool’s established front three departs.
