Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea will take on Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League on Monday evening.
Chelsea and Newcastle United are two of the biggest clubs in England, but both are having a disappointing season.
The Blues are as low as 11th in the Premier League table with 36 points from 26 games. The Magpies are 10th in the standings with 40 points from 27 games.
Ahead of the match, Newcastle right-back Kieran Trippier has been reflecting on the mistake that he made against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup in December.

While admitting the error that he made in injury time for the goal that Mykhailo Mudryk scored, Trippier noted that the 23-year-old Ukraine international winger is very fast.
Mudryk could start for Chelsea against Newcastle in the Premier League on Monday evening.
Newcastle United right-back Kieran Trippier comments on Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk
Trippier told The Times: “Do you know what? I don’t actually know what was happening then. It was a strange one, really. I was just making a mistake and then making another mistake.
“As for Chelsea, it’s one of those. The amount of times that I’ve headed the ball back to the ’keeper, but as he crossed the ball, I couldn’t see where the ball was because Fabi [Schär] was in front of me and then it just skidded across the floor and I tried to just glance it back.
“[Mykhailo] Mudryk’s on my tail and he’s lightning. If it was anybody else, I don’t think they would have got it.”
My View: Chelsea fans should keep faith in Mykhailo Mudryk
In my opinion, Chelsea fans should have faith in Ukraine international winger Mykhailo Mudryk.
Although Mudryk has not been great for the Blues, he has shown flashes of brilliance and does work hard.
What Mudryk needs to do is become better with his decision-making. The 23-year-old has great pace, but at times, he tends to run too much and does not control it.
The youngster has to step up his game and must make sure that he takes his time to make a decision with his passes.
The winger has made 28 appearances for Chelsea this season. He has scored five goals and given three assists in those games.
