Dean Saunders has given his verdict on Chelsea and Ukraine international winger Mykhailo Mudryk.
The former Liverpool striker and talkSPORT pundit has noted that Mudryk is very inconsistent.
Dean Saunders has said that Mykhailo Mudryk can look like a world-beater for Chelsea on one occasion and then fail miserably.
The talkSPORT pundit made the comments while discussing how inconsistent young players are.
Dean Saunders comments on Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk
Saunders said about Mudryk on talkSPORT (6:25 pm, March 2, 2024): “Well, that’s what you get from young players actually. They are inconsistent.
“Like Mudryk will look like a world-beater, five minutes later he looks like he is Sunday League player. But they are all like that.”
My View: Chelsea fans should have faith in Mykhailo Mudryk
In my opinion, Chelsea fans should not give up on Mykhailo Mudryk. I believe that the winger will come good for the Blues… eventually.
Mudryk did incredibly well in Ukraine. He starred for Shakhtar Donetsk, but that was for a relatively short period of time.

Arsenal were determined to sign Mudryk, and that shows just how highly he is rated in the football community.
The winger joined Chelsea in the middle of last season at a time when the Blues were struggling. Chelsea are still just as bad now under head coach Mauricio Pochettino, if not worse.
All this does affect a player, and I think that Mudryk is suffering. He also looks very raw and does not always know how to use his pace.
The 23-year-old is very quick, but he often runs ‘too much’. I think that he needs to think a bit more when he is on the ball and make better decisions.
The youngster has made nine starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea this season. Mudryk has scored three goals and given two assists in those games.
Chelsea are having yet another torrid season and will not end up in the top four of the Premier League again.
