Unai Emery’s Aston Villa and Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.

Aston Villa are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment. Unai Emery’s side have picked up 55 points from 27 games.

Tottenham Hotspur are fifth. The North London club are on 50 points from 26 games. Manchester United won against Everton on Saturday and are sixth with 47 points from 28 games.

Villa and Tottenham will face each other at Villa Park in the Premier League on Sunday, and ahead of the game, Gabriel Agbonlahor has sent a warning to Cristian Romero.

The former Villa striker and talkSPORT pundit has said that Tottenham defender Romero needs to keep his cool and has warned the £42 million (Sky Sports) star against doing anything silly.

Romero is one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League, but the 25-year-old does make silly challenges and rash tackles and gets sent off.

Agbonlahor said on talkSPORT (7:20 pm, March 9, 2024): “I shouldn’t bring it up, but there is a bit of needle with Matty Cash. Do you know what I mean?

“Players do not forget sometimes. Romero has got to keep his head. If he starts being silly…”

Former Tottenham player Jamie O’Hara asked: “Do you think Matty Cash will play? Do you think he will start?”

Agbonlahor responded: “I think he will start, I think he will start, mate, because he didn’t start against Ajax. He came on.

“So, I think he will start. Your players have got to keep their heads, and silly Romero can’t help himself.”

My View: Aston Villa vs Tottenham Hotspur will be exciting

In my opinion, the Premier League match between Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon will be hugely exciting.

Both Villa and Spurs play open and attacking football, and I think that there will be a few goals in the game.

I think that the match will end in a draw. There is nothing much between the two teams, and I am going for a 2-2 draw.
