Piers Morgan has admitted that he was wrong to doubt Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta over two players.
The Arsenal fan and TV personality has admitted that Mikel Arteta was right not to sign a new striker in the January transfer window.
Piers Morgan wrong about Arsenal duo David Raya and Kai Havertz
Arsenal hammered Sheffield United 6-0 away from home in the Premier League on Monday evening. It came after the demolitions of Newcastle United, Burnley and West Ham United in the league.
Piers Morgan was hugely impressed by the way Arsenal dismantled the Blades, claiming that he is now convinced that the Gunners will win the Premier League title this season.
Morgan has also admitted that he was wrong to doubt Arsenal manager Arteta for replacing Aaron Ramsdale with David Raya and for keeping faith in Kai Havertz.
Raya and Havertz are important players for Arsenal
Ramsdale started the season as the first-choice goalkeeper for Arsenal, but Arteta eventually made Raya the number one. The 28-year-old Spain international goalkeeper is on loan from Brentford at the moment, but it is expected that the deal will become permanent in the summer of 2024.

Morgan has previously called for Arsenal to sell Havertz in the January transfer window and invest that money into signing a new striker. He wanted Ivan Toney.
Havertz, who joined Arsenal from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer of 2023, has been playing as a false nine due to an injury to Gabriel Jesus. He played well against Sheffield United on Monday.
The 24-year-old has made 19 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal this season. The Germany international has scored seven goals and given three assists in those games.
Havertz has become a very important player for Arsenal, and it will be interesting to see if Arteta decides to change his role in the team now that Jesus is back to full fitness.
