The 25-year-old playmaker scored the opening goal in the fourth minute with a brilliant finish. BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton was impressed. Odegaard provided an assist in the 47th minute.
Merson said on Sky Sports News (5:26 pm, February 17, 2024): “Saka was good. I mean, if your winger is getting a brace again a week later, Odegaard was outstanding as well.”
My View: Martin Odegaard is on song now
In my opinion, Martin Odegaard is in top form at the moment. The Arsenal star is playing well, scoring goals and creating chances.
Odegaard is one of the best and most creative midfielders around. Arsenal need the former Real Madrid player to be at his best in the coming weeks and months.
After all, Mikel Arteta’s side are aiming to beat Liverpool and Manchester City to the Premier League title this season.
The 25-year-old playmaker has scored five goals and given six assists in 22 Premier League matches for Arsenal this season.
