West Ham United coach Kevin Nolan has given his verdict on Manchester United and Argentina international winger Alejandro Garnacho.
Nolan has also noted how good midfielder Kobbie Mainoo and striker Rasmus Hojlund are.
So, what has Kevin Nolan said about Alejandro Garnacho? Let’s take a look.
Praise for Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho
Well, West Ham United coach Kevin Nolan has been speaking about Manchester United trio Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Hojlund.
Nolan has been impressed by the three United youngsters and thinks that Garnacho is a massive talent.
Erik ten Hag’s side beat West Ham United 3-0 at Old Trafford in the Premier League last weekend. Garnacho scored two goals.

Nolan said on talkSPORT (6:44 pm, February 8, 2024): “These boys have been given a platform to showcase their ability. Garnacho is obviously a massive talent. Mainoo (too). Everyone was on Hojlund’s back about him not scoring goals in the Premier League, and suddenly he’s got goals in the next three (in a row).
“You can only do that if the manager has got faith in you and keeps playing you in those moments (when) everybody else is doubting you. It’s really important for those youngsters, that you continue to give them opportunities. And that’s what Ten Hag has done.
“And he’s been repaid with fantastic performances in the last couple of games, you know with Mainoo scoring that goal in the last minute (against Wolverhampton Wanderers).”
My View: Let’s be patient with Alejandro Garnacho
In my opinion, Manchester United fans need to be patient with Alejandro Garnacho. While the winger has been around for a while, people have to remember that he is only 19 now.
Garnacho is far from the finished article. After all, he is a teenager. We have to let the Argentina international winger grow and develop at his own pace.
The 19-year-old, who cost United £420,000 when they signed him from Atletico Madrid in August 2020 as a 16-year-old (The Mirror), has made 15 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Erik ten Hag’s side so far this season.
The teenager has scored five goals and given two assists in those games for United, who are unlikely to have Lisandro Martinez play again for them this season due to injury.
Garnacho has also scored one goal in two Carabao Cup appearances and scored one goal in three starts and three substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for the Red Devils this season.
