Sources have confirmed to HITC that Newcastle have rejected a new improved bid from Bayern Munich for Kieran Trippier – bid is €15million.

Bayern’s interest in Trippier emerged over the weekend and HITC confirmed that the 33-year-old defender had already agreed to make the move to the Allianz Arena.

Trippier is close friends with Harry Kane and it is believed the English skipper has sung his praises to Bayern management.

Trippier keen

We understand Bayern firmly believe that Trippier wants to move to Munich – but to get his wish he may now have to agitate to get his wish of a move to the Bundesliga giants.

Sources have told HITC that Bayern will be back with another offer for Trippier, but they have also not yet fully backed away from a deal for Paris Saint-Germain’s Nordi Mukiele.

Newcastle offers

Newcastle have insisted they do not want to list Trippier, and the same is said of team-mate Callum Wilson – who Atletico Madrid enquired for.

However, they are understood to be seriously considering allowing Miguel Almiron move to Saudi Arabia – as he is the subject of an offer from Al Shabab.

There is more than a week to go before the transfer deadline, with the final day for deals being February 1.

Newcastle do look set to miss out on Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips, who is now set to move to West Ham United.
