Arsenal teenager Ethan Nwaneri has been spotted in first-team training ahead of tonight’s Carabao Cup tie against West Ham United.
Ethan Nwaneri may be in contention for an appearance for Arsenal against West Ham United tonight.
The Gunners are back in action once again tonight as their rather busy schedule continues.
Saturday’s 5-0 win over Sheffield United was a fairly comfortable affair and Arsenal head into this game with real confidence.
A quarter-final place is up for grabs but Mikel Arteta may be tempted to make some changes to rotate his side…
Ethan Nwaneri spotted in Arsenal training
Arteta put his players through their paces on Tuesday as he prepares to pick his team to face the Hammers.
Squad rotation is vital and Arteta may be tempted to use some young talents either in his starting XI or from the bench.
One of them is Ethan Nwaneri, who was spotted in Arsenal’s first-team training at London Colney on Tuesday.
The photo below shows Nwaneri battling fellow youngster Bradley Ibrahim in Arsenal training.
Arteta handed Nwaneri a first-team debut with Arsenal back in September 2022, with the midfielder aged just 15.
Nwaneri hasn’t featured for Arsenal since then but his inclusion in training may leave him hoping for an appearance tonight.

Nwaneri still a top talent at Arsenal
There was plenty of hype around Nwaneri after his debut at Brentford last season.
That hasn’t translated into first-team minutes, and it may seem that things have gone a little quiet around him.
Make no mistake though, Nwaneri is still a top talent and senior action at Arsenal will come – whether it’s tonight or much further down the line.
Nwaneri – hailed as ‘exceptional’ by Jack Wilshere – is only 16 and there will be plenty of ups and downs for him in the coming years.
Jude Bellingham will be a real inspiration for Nwaneri given what he was doing at a similar age, and tonight could be a chance for the teenager to remind people of his potential.
