Ian Wright says Arsenal transfer target Kaoru Mitoma is ‘on fire’ for Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Arsenal legend has recently returned from Australia after he was working on the Women’s World Cup, which saw England beaten in the final by Spain.
That meant that Wright missed the start of the new Premier League season, including Kaoru Mitoma’s stunning solo goal away at Wolves ten days ago.
When Wright was shown that goal by Mitoma, he stated that it was ‘unstoppable stuff’, as he told Premier League Productions (28/08/23 at 2:05 pm).
That’s just a small snippet of what the Japan star has been producing this season, with talkSPORT reporting that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are keen.
Well, this is what Wright had to say about the player, who is only heading one way in his career and that’s up – West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen recently spoke highly about the player.

“Wow,” said Wright after seeing back the Mitoma goal. “Jheeez. Unstoppable stuff. He’s on fire. Brighton watch out.”

Mitoma flying high at Brighton
The transfer window can be crazy, including during the final few days, but you would expect Mitoma to stay put.
But, down the line, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Mitoma secures a transfer away from the club and to a team in the Champions League.
Arsenal have returned to play against the elite this season, as they aim to take the next steps of winning some much-needed silverware.
