Ramon Vega has hit out at people that are ‘disrespecting’ Bayern Munich as a club as they try to secure the transfer of Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane.

The former Tottenham player says ‘some pundits’ comments about Bayern Munich as a club is ‘unbelievable’ and that they are ‘one of the biggest clubs in the world’, as he posted on Twitter.

On Thursday morning, news broke that the German club had an ‘agreement’ in place with Spurs for the sale of their all-time leading goalscorer, Harry Kane, as reported by Sky Sports.

That sparked madness across social media, footballing channels and across the game in general – Pep Guardiola shared his thoughts on the possible move.

But, then the twist, and suggestions that Kane is ‘increasingly likely to stay’ despite that agreed deal.

Either way, for Vega, if Kane decided to accept Bayern’s offer and put on their shirt, then he thinks that he will be joining a ‘massive club’, as he didn’t hold back on those dismissing the Bundesliga giants.

“The way Bayern Munich has been disrespected as a Club by some pundits it’s unbelievable!!” said Vega.

“The club is one of the biggest clubs in the world with a massive history and is also well-run as a Club. No question about it that Kane can join a massive Club.”

Even if Kane stays…Bayern deserve the respect

Bayern are one of the big boys of European football, yes, the Bundesliga has gone beyond boring and competitive, but that still hasn’t stopped them from winning European Cups.

They have won two since Kane has been a professional, and if he decides to join them, then that’s the main trophy the club will be aiming to win again.

But if he stays, then it’s a massive, massive plus for a Spurs side that finished eighth whilst he scored 30 goals last term.
