Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool could sell Fabinho in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
90min have reported that Al Ittihad are interested in signing Fabinho from Liverpool.
Former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool are “contemplating whether to sell Fabinho to Al Ittihad”.
The report has added that the £180,000-a-week (SalarySport) Brazil international defensive midfielder is “keen” on leaving Liverpool and joining Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool should sell Fabinho
We believe that if Fabinho wants to leave Liverpool and the Reds get a good offer, then they should sell him.
There is speculation that Al Ittihad are willing to pay £40 million in transfer fees for the 29-year-old.
For that money, Liverpool should just let Fabinho leave.
Fabinho is 29 now.

The Brazil international defensive midfielder did not have the best of seasons in 2022-23.
There were criticisms levelled at Fabinho, with suggestions that he is past his prime.
That might be an exaggeration.
After all, one bad season does not mean that a player is on his way down.
It was only in November 2022 when Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp described Fabinho as “different level” in The Liverpool Echo.
However, Liverpool have to at least consider selling Fabinho for £40 million, especially if the Brazilian himself wants to leave.
There is no point in a club as big as Liverpool keeping a player against his will.
If Liverpool, Al Ittihad and Fabinho can come to an agreement, then it would make sense for the midfielder to switch clubs.
Fabinho made 31 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool last season.
The Brazilian gave two assists in those games.
The Liverpool midfielder also made seven starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League and made one start and two substitute appearances in the FA Cup last season.
