Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Al Ittihad manager Nuno is personally trying to sign Fabinho from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The Italian journalist is claiming this morning that Al Ittihad are determined to sign Liverpool defensive midfielder Fabinho.
Romano has reported that the Saudi Arabian club have already held talks with the £180,000-a-week (Spotrac) Brazil international defensive midfielder over salary and length of contract.
Liverpool, though, have yet to receive a formal offer for Fabinho.
Al Ittihad approach Liverpool midfielder Fabinho
Interestingly, Fabinho is not the only Liverpool midfielder who has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in the summer transfer window.
There is speculation that Al Ettifaq, now manager by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, are keen on Jordan Henderson.
Should Fabinho stay at Liverpool or leave?
In our opinion, Liverpool midfielder Fabinho could leave for Saudi Arabia in the summer transfer window.
It is very likely that Al Ittihad are offering the Brazilian star a lot more than what he is earning at Liverpool now.

That could be very tempting, not just for Fabinho, but for any footballer in the world.
Fabinho has been a big success at Liverpool over the years.
The defensive midfielder has won the Premier League, the EFL Cup, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League with the Reds.
So, there is nothing more that Fabinho could achieve at Liverpool.
A move to Saudi Arabia would make sense for the 29-year-old from a financial perspective and perhaps even from a footballing point of view.
