Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly received a £13 million bid from Spartak Moscow for Davinson Sanchez with the Premier League defender weighing up a potential move to Russia.
There may be something of a bidding war breaking out for a Tottenham player, and it’s not Harry Kane.
Fabrizio Romano, earlier this week, reported that Turkish giants Galatasaray had offered £8 million for Colombia international Davinson Sanchez. Spartak Moscow, however, appear willing to stump up a little bit more.
According to Timur Gurtskaya, an agent with plenty of connections in the Russian game, Spartak have ‘sent an offer to Tottenham’ of around 15 million euros. Sanchez will reportedly earn £80,000-a-week in the Russian capital too, with the former Ajax man now taking some time to ‘think’ and consider his options.

Tottenham willing to sell Davinson Sanchez
Sanchez has just one year left on his contract. Tottenham are unlikely to stand in his way, with Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo lined up as a potential replacement.
Fernando Schena, one of the 27-year-old’s representatives, is playing down reports that Sanchez is ‘close’ to joining a Spartak side who finished 16 points behind Zenit St Petersburg in the Russian Premier League last season, even if the long-serving centre-half is open to the idea of kick-starting his career in northern Europe.
“The information that Sanchez is close to moving to Spartak? No, there is no closeness,” Schena tells Euro Futbol.
“As far as I understand it, Spartak is now in close contact with Tottenham, but not with us. Based on the result of the talks between the clubs, we will receive an answer and we will think.”

Tottenham have already sold Harry Winks this summer; the England midfielder joining Leicester City for a cool £10 million.
Ivan Perisic also appears to have his heart set on a return to Croatia with Hajduk Split, although there may still be a place in Ange Postecoglou’s plans for the veteran leftie with Ryan Sessegnon undergoing surgery to correct a hamstring problem.
