Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have now reportedly been given a big chance to sign Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie.

Earlier this month, InterLive reported that Liverpool are interested in signing Franck Kessie from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.

The report in the Italian news outlet claimed interest in 26-year-old Ivory Coast international midfielder, described as a “very special” and a “very, very good” player by former Chelsea star Pat Nevin on BBC Radio 5 Live Sport in December 2021, from Inter Milan as well.

And now Sport are now reporting that Barcelona have decided to sell Kessie and want €35 million (£30 million) in transfer fees for him.

The Spanish publication have claimed that Inter are keen on Kessie, who joined Barcelona on a free transfer in the summer of 2022 after leaving AC Milan.

Should Liverpool bid for Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie?

In our opinion, if Liverpool are really keen on Franck Kessie, then they should make an offer of £30 million for the Barcelona midfielder.

After all, it seems that the La Liga champions are willing to sell the Ivorian this summer for a relatively modest transfer fee.

Kessie is 26 now and has his best years of him.

The Barcelona player is a very good and combative player who can hold his own in the middle of the park.

We believe that the former AC Milan star would be an asset for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
