Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will have Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Alexis Mac Allister in his squad for next season and beyond, according to a report in Argentina.

TyC have reported that Liverpool and Brighton and Hove Albion have agreed a deal for Alexis Mac Allister, described as “incredible” by his Seagulls teammate Adam Lallana.

Former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool will pay Brighton £70 million in transfer fees for the 24-year-old Argentina international midfielder in the summer transfer window.

Mac Allister, who won the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Argentina, will sign a “multi-year contract” with Liverpool, according to the report, which has added that “the agreement is already total”.

Liverpool smart to get Alexis Mac Allister deal done so early

In our view, Liverpool are being very smart in getting Alexis Mac Allister signed up so early.

Mac Allister is one of the best midfielders around, and there is no surprise that a number of other clubs have been linked with him, including Manchester United.

It seems that Liverpool are really determined to sign the Argentine, and we have to praise the club for being so quick about this potential deal.

Mac Allister is a very dynamic player who can drive the team forward and hold his own in the middle of the park, and we believe that he would make Liverpool better and more solid in midfield.
