Martin Keown has seemingly called for the exit of Daniel Levy as Tottenham Hotspur chairman, as noise grows over the future of star striker, Harry Kane.
The Arsenal legend thinks it is now time for Harry Kane to leave, but he also thinks Daniel Levy should also go because he ‘hasn’t been successful’ during his 20 years in the boardroom, as he told Final Score.
Over the weekend, as Aston Villa beat Tottenham 2-1 in the race for Europe, inside 15 seconds of that encounter, there were anti-Levy chants from the away fans.

It’s pretty clear, the fans have had enough and they want change from the top.
Things won’t be helped by Kane leaving because many Spurs supporters will lay the blame on the club’s doors and their inability to match his ambitions – it’s been suggested that if the England captain goes to Chelsea, then he won’t be welcomed back.
Either way, Keown questioned the future of Levy and how Spurs fans might not give their ‘blessing’ for Kane to go, even though he has done so much for the club.
“There are some massive decisions to be made at that football club,” said Keown. “Should Daniel Levy still be at the football club next year? I would honestly ask that question. I am not trying to be mischievous as an Arsenal man. He has been there for 20 years and there hasn’t been any success.
“So, what’s Harry going to do? Stay loyal to the club or will he go somewhere else? Will he be accused of not being ambitious enough? It’s admirable that he wants to be loyal. But I do feel he has to think now of himself. No one can ever say he hasn’t given his all.
“He will never go with their blessing (of the fans) because they love him and want to keep him. But now is the time to exit.”

TOTTENHAM FANS WANT DANIEL LEVY OUT
It’s pretty simple, whatever happens with Kane, and the fans might have to swallow the pill that he might not be here next season, they want Levy out of the door.
Joe Lewis and ENIC are the owners of the club, with their futures also coming under fire.
But, amid all of that noise, those at the top have to be willing to sell in order for there to be change and these things aren’t straightforward, so in 12 months, Levy and Co. will, more than likely, still be at Hotspur Way.
