Kyle Walker-Peters is a former Tottenham Hotspur player, but that has not stopped Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal from taking an interest in the Southampton right-back.
Arsenal linked with former Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kyle Walker-Peters
Journalist Dean Jones reported in GiveMeSport in March 2022 that Arsenal are keeping tabs on the situation of Walker-Peters.
The Athletic reported this month Arsenal’s interest in the former Spurs right-back.
Dele Alli played with Walker-Peters at Tottenham, and the midfielder described the right-back as “a fantastic player” on Spurs TV.
It remains to be seen if the Gunners actually make a move for the Englishman, but their chances of bringing him to the Emirates Stadium in the summer transfer window have just been boosted by Southampton getting relegated from the Premier League.

Southampton relegated
The Saints have suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Fulham at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League this afternoon.
The result means that Southampton will now finish the season in the bottom three of the Premier League table.
The Saints will play in the Championship next season.
Exit now likely
Yes, Southampton are a big club, but it is really hard to see Walker-Peters stay at St. Mary’s Stadium next season.
The 26-year-old is under contract at Southampton until the summer of 2025.
Perhaps Arsenal will make a bid for the right-back in the coming weeks.
