Arsenal are showing an interest in Nottingham Forest talent Brennan Johnson after Tottenham Hotspur scouted him repeatedly.
Nottingham Forest ace Brennan Johnson is attracting major interest with Arsenal among the clubs keen according to Football Transfers.
It’s reported that Forest intend to refuse all offers for Johnson if they can secure their Premier League status.
Forest aren’t safe yet but the win over Southampton has certainly helped their cause.
Johnson is under contract until 2026 but Premier League clubs are showing a real interest in signing him.
Arsenal, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Newcastle United are all keen to sign Johnson this summer.
The Welsh international took a little while to get going in the Premier League but has enjoyed a fine season.
Johnson has now bagged eight goals and two assists in 34 Premier League games this season, shining coming in off the right flank.
Arsenal may well see Johnson as competition for Bukayo Saka down their right side – and a move could leave Tottenham fans a little frustrated.

Fabio Paratici was eyeing Brennan Johnson for Tottenham Hotspur
Johnson has been wanted in North London in recent times, but mostly by Arsenal’s bitter rivals Tottenham.
Hailed for his ‘incredible pace’ by Alan Shearer, Johnson was outstanding for Forest last season and attracted attention.
Fabio Paratici took a keen interest in Johnson and went to scout both him and Djed Spence in action for Forest in February 2022.
Spence ended up signing for Tottenham last summer but Forest kept hold of Johnson despite Spurs’ interest.
The Telegraph reported in April of last year that Spurs were continuing to scout Johnson ahead of a possible move, but it just never happened.
Paratici may well have maintained his interest in Johnson, especially after seeing him shine in the Premier League.
However, Paratici has now left Tottenham having been hit with a worldwide ban by FIFA.
Spurs may no longer be in the mix for Johnson and he could instead move on to Arsenal in a rather annoying twist of fate for Tottenham.
