Alan Brazil has tipped Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to secure a summer transfer deal for West Ham United midfielder, Declan Rice.

The talkSPORT pundit added that Declan Rice is ‘tailor-made’ for Liverpool and a player that Manchester City boss ‘Pep Guardiola loves’.

When it comes to the top teams in the Premier League, there aren’t many sides, if anyone, that needs a refresh in their midfield like the Reds.

Whilst they have recorded six wins on the bounce and they are scaring the life out of their bitter rivals Manchester United in the race for the top four.

There have been many questionable performances this season and a change will be needed in the middle of the park for next season.

Given that many are expecting Rice to leave West Ham, then it’s understandable that his name is going to pop up about joining other clubs, with Alan Brazil tipping him for a transfer to Anfield, as he told talkSPORT Breakfast (11/05/23 at 6:25 am).

“I think he is tailor-made for Liverpool,” said Brazil. “Declan, when you say world-class, he doesn’t have the ability of Vinicius and people like that.

“He rarely gives it away. People say ‘what does he create?’ and ‘how many goals does he score?’. But he is box-to-box and he keeps possession.

“I bet you Pep (Guardiola) loves the way he plays. He doesn’t give it away.

WILL THE LACK OF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE HURT LIVERPOOL?

From a financial perspective, Liverpool don’t throw cash on the table like some of their rivals.

Therefore, if they miss out on playing Champions League football next season, then could it hurt their chances of buying those big stars?

Rice is certainly going to be one of the biggest talking points in the summer, but if Liverpool want to sign him, then they will have to fight it out because Arsenal also want him on board.
