Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool could reportedly miss out on Kim Min-jae to Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
Kim is one of the best central defenders in Serie A, and both Liverpool and Manchester United are keen on signing the Napoli star.
In March, Italian journalist Ciro Venerato has said, as quoted in Calcio Napoli 24, that Liverpool are interested in Kim.
Venerato added that Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are also ready to go big for the defender, described as “sensational” on BBC Sport in November 2022 by former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy.
Napoli could sell Liverpool target Kim Min-jae to Manchester United
And now it seems that United are indeed ready to make a big offer.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Red Devils are determined to sign the 26-year-old in the summer transfer window and are preparing an offer of €60 million (£52.50 million)
And Napoli are seriously considering selling the defender for that price, according to the report.

Potential blow for Liverpool
This is a potential blow for Liverpool.
If Napoli are wiling to sell Kim, then they would not care which club he goes to as long as they get a lot of money for him.
So, if Liverpool are to get the South Korea international, then they have to make an offer more than Manchester United and also have to convince him why Anfield would be a better destination than Old Trafford.
