Ian Wright says it’s ‘scary’ to think Harry Kane could secure a transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Chelsea where he could re-unite with Mauricio Pochettino.
The Arsenal legend added that Harry Kane could be tempted to leave Tottenham in the summer and join their London rivals, that’s if Mauricio Pochettino becomes Chelsea’s next manager.
Whilst Chelsea, who are sitting 12th in the Premier League table, have new faces in their boardroom, the relationship between Daniel Levy and the West London club has always been a frosty one.

As a result of that, many think the Spurs chairman wouldn’t even consider allowing his star striker to leave and move to Stamford Bridge.
But with Kane’s contract running down and suggestions that Pochettino is closing in on the Chelsea job, then many Spurs fans have the right to be worried.
Ian Wright thinks the Tottenham faithful would find it very difficult to deal with, if they have to see Kane in the colours of Chelsea, as he told Premier League Productions (01/05/23 2:20 pm).
“That’s the only thing Tottenham fans wouldn’t be able to deal with, if he went to Chelsea,” said Wright.
“Can you imagine, if Pochettino went to Chelsea, with the young players he has got and the fact that he is so good with that kind of player? That progressive young player. When you look at the dressing room he has left, with respect to dealing with Neymar, Messi and Mbappe.
“The way he can manage that situation, with young players, with Harry Kane and with the players Chelsea have got. That’s scary. That could be scary for someone.
“If he had to sit down with somebody, you probably think Mauricio could tempt him there. You are talking about the legacy of Spurs. That’s the thing that would bother him, more than anything. He is loyal. Would he want to go all the way to Manchester (and leave London)?”

WOULD KANE JOIN CHELSEA?
Both teams won’t be in the Champions League next season, so in that sense, it has to be questioned why he would join Chelsea, especially if Manchester United are keen on him.
But Pochettino is an obvious link and so is the financial package Todd Boehly’s free-spending Chelsea could offer their London rivals and the £200k-a-week star (Spotrac) himself.
Levy is already unpopular with Spurs fans, he surely has to push it to the point that Kane leaves for nothing, rather than head to Chelsea in the summer because a lot of verbal fire will be headed his way, otherwise.
