Tottenham fans could be heard chanting in frustration as Spurs recorded a 1-1 draw against Everton on Monday night.

The north Londoners served up a flat performance for their travelling supporters, in what was Cristian Stellini’s first game in charge since officially taking over from Antonio Conte on an interim basis.

Just six minutes into the 1-1 draw, some Tottenham fans made it clear who they want to replace the Italian on a permanent basis.

What’s the story?

Well, the Spurs supporters could be heard singing Mauricio Pochettino‘s chant at Goodison Park on Monday.

Tottenham fans also chanted for Daniel Levy to leave – as backed up by Dan Kilpatrick of the Evening Standard on Twitter.

Clearly, those in N17 are not happy with how their beloved Spurs are being ran, and they have every right to express their anger.

Tottenham currently find themselves looking for a fourth permanent manager since 2021 after José Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo and Conte all failed to succeed.

Spurs are also without a Director of Football to aid their managerial search, as Fabio Paratici finds himself banned from football for false accounting.

Tottenham 1-1 Everton shows appointment must be made

In our view, Monday’s dreadful display against a relegation contender in Everton shows that Levy risks missing out on a place in the Champions League if he keeps Stellini.

There are a number of managers available to be hired right now, as the likes of Julian Nagelsmann and Graham Potter find themselves unemployed – Brendan Rodgers is also an option.

In our view, Tottenham must look to bring someone in soon to give the players a boost of energy – things cannot continue in the way they have been under Conte and Stellini.

Be sure to keep an eye on the situation, as Spurs continue their search for a new manager.
