Pedro Porro has criticised Tim Sherwood yet again for his harsh criticism about him during his debut for Tottenham Hotspur against Leicester City.

After the latter said that the 23-year-old was ‘all over the place’ on his first start for the club, the Spurs defender blasted the former Lilywhites boss, pledging to ‘shut his mouth’ in an interview with the Guardian.

Once again, Pedro Porro has had words to say about Tim Sherwood.

Pedro Porro says his piece on Tim Sherwood yet again

The Spanish right wing-back has impressed on loan, despite a rocky start to life in his new surroundings, as Harvey Barnes gave him an unpleasant welcome to the Premier League a couple of weeks ago.

Since then, Porro has looked the part and perhaps been one of the few positives in a side that have flattered to deceive.

Now, Pedro Porro has had his say on Tim Sherwood and his criticism of him once again an interview with A Bola.

“I think the person who did it [Tim Sherwood] was too hard on me, he didn’t know me. I had just arrived and in the time, I was on the field, there was little else I could do. I hope that one day that person recognises that he was unfair and that he was wrong in this way.”

In our view: Porro has the right to call out the pundit

While Tim Sherwood was fair in slating what was a poor Pedro Porro performance, his criticism went immensely overboard, especially considering that he was making his first Premier League start.

Seeing how harsh Sherwood was, Porro has the right to call him out, as there is a fine line between being critical and disrespectful.

In fact, the more pundits get reminded by players not to cross the line, the fairer would be the analysis as it tends to verge on slanderous in this day and age.
