Chris Sutton has stated that Harry Kane is a ‘brilliant footballer’ after his brace helped Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur secure a much-needed 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The 29-year-old is probably the only one in Tottenham colours who can hold his head up despite that Champions League exit in midweek to AC Milan – Danny Rose thinks Conte’s time could be up in north London.
Whilst Kane was unable to convert against the Italian champions on Wednesday night, he scored his 19th and 20th Premier League goals against Steve Cooper’s men.

Without Kane, it has to be questioned where on earth Spurs would be because they would be nowhere near their current Champions League spot.
Whatever the day, whatever the occasion and whoever the opponent is, you can bet your bottom dollar on Kane getting on the scoresheet.
If it wasn’t for a certain goal-crazy striker in Manchester, then Kane’s 20 would earn a lot more respect because Erling Haaland just hit his 28th against Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.
Nonetheless, the England captain was praised by Sutton during Tottenham’s win over Nottingham Forest, as he told BT Sport (11/03/23 at 3:35 pm).
“He’s a brilliant footballer,” said Sutton. “Even the other night against Milan, he was really clean in his build-up play and precise with his passing. They didn’t get the ball to him enough. We know he is a brilliant finisher.
“Even the move leading up to the goal, he was integral to that a couple of times and slid the ball to Richarlison, who was brought down. It was a really stupid challenge by Worrall, who should know better.
“But you will expect nothing else from Harry Kane. Very confident. Down the middle and into the roof of the net.”

ONE OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE’S BEST
Many are talking about the numbers Haaland can hit for Manchester City this season and how they could be record-breaking numbers.
Well, Kane also has a chance to go beyond the 30-mark.
Even if Spurs continue to mess up, it doesn’t stop Kane from scoring, so with 11 games left for the north London club this term, their star striker has every chance of hitting ten more goals.
