The Times have reported that it was Liverpool Under-18 coach Marc Bridge-Wilkinson who decided to move Bajcetic from centre-back to central midfield.

The 18-year-old has broken into the Liverpool first team and has been impressive.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about the Spain Under-19 international on more than one occasion in recent weeks, while former Anfield star Jamie Carragher said on Sky Sports Premier League (8:42pm, February 13, 2023) that the teenager was “absolutely fantastic” and “outstanding”.

Bajcetic has scored one goal in five starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League, and has made one start and three substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Liverpool so far this season.
