The midfield ‘revelation’ is often credited for his leadership abilities and footballing brain, now that he is no longer associated with being a rash presence in the middle of the park.
Speaking to Sky Sports via Football Daily ahead of his side’s meeting with Bournemouth, Granit Xhaka said that he would be happy to become the manager of Arsenal one day.

“You never know. Why not? Let’s ask how long Mikel [Arteta] wants to be here! I’m joking. It’s always a dream to be a coach in the Premier League for example. But we go step by step. Let’s see where I can first start to coach somewhere.”
Xhaka could make for a brilliant coach
Considering the Swiss international has made his fair share of mistakes in terms of his all-round displays as well as some of his antics, he would be the perfect player to guide those that player under his tutelage.
The fact that the Granit Xhaka that started against Bournemouth for Arsenal and can be greeted by smiles after he admits about his ambitions to become the manager is the same player that was vilified by the fanbase for turning against them in 2019 is a turnaround like no other.
Only time will tell if the experienced campaigner goes on to return to the club in a managerial capacity one day.
