Graham Potter salary has become a trending topic as the 47-year-old continues to struggle at Chelsea.

The man from Solihull replaced Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge back in September, with Todd Boehly backing him significantly in the January transfer window as £323m was spent on new signings.

However, Potter has failed to get his squad clicking, and Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to London rivals Tottenham has piled the pressure on him even more.

Among other questions, many have asked how much he earns in west London amid this poor run of form, so let’s take a look…

Graham Potter salary

Well, only Pep Guardiola, Jürgen Klopp and Antonio Conte earn more than Potter – according to the Daily Star.

It is said that the Chelsea boss earns a salary of £10m-a-year at Stamford Bridge, more than Tuchel was making.

That equates to a weekly wage of £192,307 for Potter, more than Mikel Arteta makes at Arsenal and Erik ten Hag earns at Manchester United.

Since replacing Tuchel, the Englishman has overseen 26 Chelsea games, winning just nine.

Potter has drawn seven and lost ten of those 26 outings, as his side have conceded 26 goals and scored 25.

Having been officially appointed on September 8th, Potter has been at Chelsea for 24 weeks now, meaning he has picked up £4.6m in wages.

Divide that by his nine wins, and Boehly has paid the old Swansea and Brighton boss £511,111 for every victory since swapping him for Tuchel, which does not make for great reading, it must be said.

The Telegraph believe the American is keen to provide support and backing for Potter amid this difficult run, although there is an awareness that things need to improve.

Hopefully, Potter can turn things around at Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea show faith in him like Arsenal did with Arteta during some difficult times at the Emirates Stadium.
