Ian Rush has praised Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic on Instagram for his performance against Sean Dyche’s Everton at Anfield in the Merseyside derby on Monday evening.
The Liverpool legend has said that Bajcetic was “quality”.
Liverpool got the better of Everton 2-0 at Anfield in the Premier League.
Bajcetic started the match for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The 18-year-old was arguably the best player on the pitch.
The Spanish midfielder impressed former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher as well.
Ian Rush on Stefan Bajcetic for Liverpool v Everton

Impressive
In our view, Stefan Bajcetic had a very good game for Liverpool against Everton.
The teenager imposed himself in the middle of the park and was a force to be reckoned with.
The Spaniard did not shy away from challenges and coped well with the physical aspect of the game too.
According to WhoScored, Bajcetic took one shot which was on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 77.1%, won two headers, took 51 touches, attempted one dribble, and made two tackles, two interceptions and one clearance.
Now, we must not forget that Bajcetic is only 18.
So, we should be cautious about hyping him up too much and piling too much pressure on him.
However, Liverpool fans should be very pleased with the youngster, who could turn out to be a gem.
