Tottenham Hotspur-mad pundit, Jamie O’Hara summed up his side’s 4-1 defeat to Leicester City in a 7-word reaction on Twitter.

After Antonio Conte’s side were handed a slightly fortunate lead as the ball ricochet off Rodrigo Bentancur into the back of the net, Brendan Rodgers’ side responded with a vengeance. Nampalys Mendy equalised in venomous fashion, and soon after, Spurs’ midfield was nowhere to be seen as James Maddison doubled the lead for the hosts.

After Kelechi Iheanacho made it 3-1 in style, Jamie O’Hara, much like any Tottenham fan was raging on Twitter as his side were back to his usual unpredictable selves against Leicester, just a weekend after beating Manchester City.

As the Lilywhites put on a masterclass against City and Harry Kane broke the club’s all-time goalscoring record, there was a lot of positivity around the club.

However, things came crashing down for Tottenham against Leicester, as Jamie O’Hara said on Twitter, “We [Tottenham Hotspur] only play well against Man City”, followed by a number of angry emojis.

The sentiment was the same amongst Spurs fans online, who are incensed by the constant ups and downs their club offers.

Running out of words to describe how underwhelming Tottenham have been this season

It really is that simple.

In games like against Leicester where Tottenham have the onus to control proceedings, it tends to be a shambles, as Jamie O’Hara, and other supporters must have noticed.

Both offensively and defensively, Antonio Conte and Co. continue to make schoolboy errors and flatter to deceive.

Ultimately, beating Pep Guardiola’s side is really no good if the team cannot use such a big win as a platform to improve.

Each and every Tottenham fan has a right to be frustrated about the side’s inconsistency, as was exemplified against Leicester.
