Ben Foster, who has heavily been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur after the recent injury to Hugo Lloris slammed Antonio Conte for his comments after his side’s 2-1 defeat to Liverpool this season.

This could potentially be awkward if the free agent, who is being considered as an ‘emergency signing’ by Spurs comes face-to-face with the former Chelsea boss, who was recently defended by Tim Sherwood.

Quite frankly, Tottenham target Ben Foster blasted Antonio Conte after his post-match comments against Liverpool earlier this campaign, which could lead to tensions within the club’s dressing room.

Ben Foster slammed Antonio Conte after Liverpool comments

In a YouTube video released on his channel, Tottenham target Ben Foster had a lot to say about Antonio Conte, saying, “I said at the beginning of the show that Antonio Conte was being a bit of a baby. I’m just going to put some more context around this. He’s done this already by the way and I don’t like this because they’ve lost a game 2-1 [to Liverpool].”

“But after the game, Conte comes out and says, ‘basically, if the fans are going to keep booing like they’re booing, we’ll have a look at it [potentially leaving the club] at the end of the season. I’m thinking, ‘hang on a minute, mate. Hang on. I think, personally, you’re lucky to be manager of Spurs. I think Spurs are doing you a bit of a favour.’”

“I don’t see how you can come and say that about Spurs. Spurs are monster, aren’t they? Come on.”

Now, Ben Foster, who previously admitted that he would love to sign for a Premier League club as a No.2 could see his potential transfer to Tottenham come to an end, if Antonio Conte watches the video about his take after his side’s loss against Liverpool.

Only time will tell whether Foster’s sharp mouth backfires on him.
