Darren Bent has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal losing to Sean Dyche’s Everton at Goodison Park in the Premier League and has hailed Toffees defensive midfielder Amadou Onana, a player the Gunners were linked with in the January transfer window.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker has said that Arsenal fans should keep the faith despite the defeat to Everton.
The Arsenal-supporting talkSPORT has also praised Everton defensive midfielder Onana for his performance.
Arsenal went down 1-0 to Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League this afternoon.
Centre-back James Tarkowski rose at the far post to power home a header from Dwight McNeil’s corner.
It came on the hour mark.
Onana was one of the best players on the pitch and was a force to be reckoned with in the middle of the park.
The 21-year-old Belgium international midfielder burst forward when he could and set up Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the first half.
The youngster was actually linked with a move to Arsenal in the January transfer window.

According to CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs in CaughtOffSide, Arsenal wanted to sign Onana as a potential alternative to Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo.
Jacobs added that the youngster made it clear to the Gunners that he was not interested in leaving the Toffees in the middle of the season.
The Daily Mail have claimed that Arsenal were exploring a move for the 21-year-old defensive midfielder as a potential alternative to Caicedo.
Journalist Sacha Tavolier reported last week that Arsenal were trying to sign Onana following the departure of Frank Lampard from Everton.
