West Brom boss Carlos Corberan is likely to snub the chance of becoming the next Everton manager. The Spaniard is happy at The Hawthorns as the Baggies vie to secure promotion.
That is according to talkSPORT, which reports Corberan is loving his time in charge of West Brom. He only took over the helm in October following the Championship club firing Steve Bruce. But he has transformed their fortunes to put a Premier League spot on the horizon.
West Brom appointed Corberan with the Baggies 23rd in the standings and only two points above basement boys Huddersfield Town. Yet the West Midlands club are now in 10th and just a point outside of the play-off spots. They are also only three points shy of third place.

Corberan has overseen a stunning turnaround with nine wins from his 12 games in charge so far. Only table-toppers Burnley (33) and second-placed Sheffield United (31) have taken more points in the Championship than West Brom (27) since the 39-year-old took charge.
So, Corberan would now likely snub any chance to become the next Everton manager after Farhad Moshiri sacked Frank Lampard. The Toffees dismissed the 44-year-old this Monday with the club 19th in the Premier League. They have won just a top-flight low three games.

Everton have discussed West Brom boss Corberan as their next manager
Everton have discussed West Brom boss Corberan amongst the candidates to be their next manager since sacking Lampard. The Independent lists the Spaniard, Ralph Hasenhuttl and Sam Allardyce as alternatives to Marcelo Bielsa. The Toffees board has studied each coach.
Corberan also has admirers at West Ham United. The Sun recently touted the Valencian as a candidate to replace David Moyes at the London Stadium. But the Hammers are unlikely to make a change in their host seat this season. Instead, they like Corberan for next term.
West Ham appreciate what Corberan could offer in the Premier League following his start at West Brom. He has never managed in the English top-flight. He also lasted less than two months in charge of Olympiacos last year after winning only four of his 11 matches there.
Corberan took over Olympiacos last August after he walked out on Huddersfield in July. He took the Terriers into the 2021/22 Championship play-off final before losing to Nottingham Forest. Danny Cowley even called the Spaniard ‘outstanding’ for his work at Huddersfield.
