Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are missing out on Mykhailo Mudryk to Graham Potter’s Chelsea, and this means that they could focus on Brighton and Hove Albion winger Leandro Trossard, which is bad news for Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur.
According to talkSPORT, Arsenal were in talks with Shakhtar Donetsk for Mudryk for a while, but Chelsea made a better offer.
The winger will also be paid more at Chelsea than he will have been at Arsenal.
Arsenal could focus on Tottenham target Leandro Trossard after Mykhailo Mudryk blow
So, the Gunners are missing out on Mudryk, and we think that they could now focus on Brighton winger Trossard.
According to talkSPORT, the Belgium international winger has fallen out with Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi and has flown to Brussels.
The winger wants to leave the Seagulls, and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing the 28-year-old winger in the January transfer window.
talkSPORT have added that Arsenal are interested in the Belgian as well.

According to the report, ‘Arsenal are keeping tabs on the situation, but if they get Mudryk, they will feel they’re well-stocked in that area’.
Arsenal are not getting Mudryk now, so there is a very good chance that they could now make a move for Trossard, described as “amazing” by former Liverpool star Jose Enrique on Instagram.
The Gunners were willing to pay £62 million for Mudryk, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, so they could use that money to sign Trossard now.
Would Tottenham pay £62 million for a 28-year-old winger?
