Mudryk news is coming thick and fast for Arsenal fans after the Gunners sent a £60m bid to Shakhtar Donetsk.

We have seen Fabrizio Romano claim that the Ukraine international has given Mikel Arteta his word that he will join.

The Evening Standard have also mentioned that Chelsea are interested, and Arsenal’s £60m bid is likely to be rejected.

Now, a Ukrainian football agent has provided a fresh update.

Mudryk news

Well, Ukrainian agent Igor Kryvenko has spoken to Footboom about the situation involving Arsenal and Mudryk.

Arsenal fans will be anxious to hear that the chances of Shakhtar Donetsk selling their No.10 this month are “minimal” – according to Kryvenko.

He said: “Minimal. Shakhtar won’t let Mudryk go for the money they (Arsenal) are currently offering.

Kryvenko also revealed that he thinks Shakhtar Donetsk are asking for too much money, and seems to reference the Ukrainian giants justifying their asking price by highlighting Manchester United signing Antony for £85m.

He continued: “A player from the Ukrainian championship cannot cost more than, for example, a player from the Netherlands. You have to look at things realistically. There is a market value, and Shakhtar seem to be taking figures from the ceiling.”

It must be noted that Kryvenko does not represent Mudryk – that is the job of Oleksiy Alyokhin.

Mudryk may need to force Arsenal move

Mudryk has been giving plenty of strong hints that he would like to join the Gunners, mainly on his Instagram page.

The 22-year-old also told Vlada Zinchenko, the wife of Oleksandr Zinchenko, that he would love to join Arteta at the Emirates Stadium.

However, it may be time for Mudryk to stop the subtle Instagram hints and hand in a transfer request, as Shakhtar Donetsk continue to stand firm on their £85m asking price.

The Ukraine international clearly wants to leave, and must take the issue into his own hands if Arsenal’s offers continue to be rejected.
