Gary Neville has said that Arsenal need to sign a striker, as they were restricted to a 0-0 draw against Newcastle United.
Neville has mentioned that aside from the in-form Eddie Nketiah, the Premier League leaders may need another No.9.
Currently, Nketiah is the only striker at their disposal, with Gabriel Jesus sidelined due to a lengthy injury.
On the night, the 24-year-old was largely effective, with his excellent hold-up play and remarkable ability to wriggle through tight situations standing out against Newcastle.
However, Eddie Nketiah, alongside his fellow Arsenal teammates simply failed to put the ball in the back of the net.
After all, Newcastle United restricted the hosts to a mere 4 shots on target on Tuesday night.
Despite Nketiah being a menace for the Magpies defence, he only looked close to scoring once in the game, but was denied by the imperious Nick Pope.
A certain Manchester United legend felt the club may now need to bolster arguably the most crucial area of the pitch.
Gary Neville says Arsenal need another striker as Newcastle restrict them to 0-0 draw

Gary Neville has said Arsenal need to bring in a new striker after their 0-0 draw against Newcastle United.
“If you thought before the game [against Newcastle] that Arsenal needed a striker, you’re certainly thinking it now.”
“Not that [Eddie] Nketiah hasn’t done well but there just isn’t really another option”, he said on Sky Sports.
In our view: Another attacking option rather than a No.9 should be the focus
Yes, it would help Arsenal if they had another striker at their disposal.
But it would be a bigger burden off the shoulders off their attackers if another creative threat was brought in.
Someone who could weave magic out of thin air if the likes of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard or Gabriel Martinelli are not at their best.
Ultimately, having 3 strikers on their books after Gabriel Jesus returns to fitness would also be impractical squad building from Arsenal, if they felt Gary Neville was spot on.
