Memphis Depay boost for Arsenal
This report in ESPN will be encouraging for Arsenal as well as a few other clubs.
Sport reported in November 2022 that Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United want to sign Depay from Barcelona in the January transfer window.
It is also SPORT who claimed this week that Newcastle United are keen on securing the services of the 28-year-old.
Arsenal could do with signing a striker due to injury to Gabriel Jesus.
Depay is a versatile forward player who can operate out wide or down the middle.
On a free transfer, the the Dutchman would be a brilliant signing for Arsenal, especially for the second half of the season.
After all, the Gunners are five points clear of second-placed and defending champions Manchester City at the top of he Premier League table and have to seize this great opportunity of winning the title.
