Who is Myles Lewis-Skelly is a common question amongst several fans, as the Arsenal academy talent has been making waves.

In recent years, both Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe have come up the ranks and become established first-team players.

The pair have also gone to represent Gareth Southgate’s England side, which shows the power of the Hale End academy as one of the best in the country.

Lewis-Skelly could well be one of the next starlets in line to eventually do the same.

Myles Lewis-Skelly was called up to the Arsenal U-21 side at just 16 years of age, earning a place on the bench against Northampton Town and Monaco B.

An unnamed youth coach at the club once told VAVEL that Lewis-Skelly was the most “outstanding” prospect in the academy, alongside Ethan Nwaneri.

In fact, he went on to claim that the 16-year old is as naturally talented as Nwaneri.

A big statement to make, considering the latter made history by becoming the youngest-ever player to make his Premier League debut at 15 years and 181 days against Brentford this season.

Currently, the youngster is playing in the U-18 Premier League for Arsenal.

Has the 16-year-old ever trained with the Arsenal first-team?

Remarkably, Myles Lewis-Skelly was even spotted training with the Arsenal senior team during the World Cup recently.

With several first-team players such as Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey and Bukayo Saka to name a few in Qatar at the time to, the young buck was brought in to train with the big boys.

The gifted defensive-midfielder also travelled with the Gunners’ senior squad for their warm weather training camp in Dubai, as per Jeorge Bird.

Clearly, Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer of Lewis-Skelly.

Perhaps in a few years, who is Myles Lewis-Skelly will not even be a question, as the youngster could reach superstardom in an Arsenal shirt one day.
