French outlet Media Foot report that four Ligue 1 clubs want to sign Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara ahead of the January window – with the Ibrox ace available to buy for just £9million, despite having a contract until June 2025.
Kamara, 27, has started both games for Rangers under Michael Beale since the new gaffer returned to the club. Andy Halliday recently said that during Beale’s first stint at Rangers as a coach – Kamara and Joe Aribo were his favourites.
But there is doubt regarding the future of the 48-time Finland international at Rangers. He is still considered a crucial part of the squad, especially with Beale in charge. But interest in his services continues to surface, now, from France.
The latest report states that four Ligue 1 sides are in a £9million race to land the ex-Arsenal talent. Indeed, it is claimed that Lyon, Marseille, Rennes and Nantes are all interested. The latter two are in the Europa League knockout stages.

Four clubs want to sign Rangers midfielder Kamara for just £9million
It is a tricky one for Rangers. Do they keep Kamara, who remains an important part of the team. Or, do they cash in on Kamara – who has not been at his best since Steven Gerrard’s exit? A player Gerrard once described as “phenomenal”.
It is a decent fee for a player that is not in the best form, certainly, he has shown he can be better in his 176 games. Rangers need strengthening in a number of areas, made apparent by their extensive injury list. £9million is handy.
So, perhaps Rangers should consider cashing in on Kamara to give them the chance to bring in two or three players. Replacing Kamara, but also perhaps bringing in a centre-back, a goalkeeper, a winger or another striker in January.
