John Terry was left shocked by ‘the audacity’ of one-time Arsenal transfer target, Achraf Hakimi, attempting and executing a Panenka penalty as Morocco knocked Spain out of the Qatar World Cup.
The Chelsea legend added that the PSG star’s actions were ‘incredible’ and the celebrations after the game proves that’s what the World Cup is all about.
Morocco were punching above their weight as it is by being in the knockout stages. But they took it to another level on Tuesday.

With Luis Enrique’s young, vibrant and technically-gifted Spain side the favourites to progress, the previous Tiki-taka masters were out-thought and out-fought by the North African nation.
When the round of 16 clash finished goalless after 90 minutes, then extra time, the game went to penalties where Hakimi, ready to take the decisive penalty after Spain missed three, proceeded to do a Panenka and create history.
Former Premier League defender John Terry loved the confidence from the all-action right-back, as he told beIN SPORTS (06/12/22 at 6:40 pm).
“That’s incredible,” said Terry. “Even the dance afterwards. That’s what the World Cup is all about to see them celebrate like that. The audacity to do that.”

ARSENAL’S PREVIOUS INTEREST IN HAKIMI
Prior to leaving Inter Milan in 2021, there was talk of the £60 million star possibly heading to the Premier League and joining Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Given his all-action style, confidence, incredible attacking ability, work rate and delivery, then he would have no doubt suited Arsenal’s system down to a tee.
There is even talk that Hakimi could already leave PSG, that’s if Kylian Mbappe leaves, because the French superstar is pretty hard to please.
