As per the latest information provided by Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk, Liverpool are currently beating Real Madrid in the race to sign Jude Bellingham.
Sport Bild have previously reported that Jurgen Klopp is keen on the 19-year-old’s arrival in 2023, who is taking the World Cup by storm.
However, Sky reporter Florian Plettenburg has recently claimed that there is a three-horse race to sign the England international.
Alongside the Reds, both Real Madrid and Manchester City are also interested in signing the Borussia Dortmund hero.
The £130 million-rated midfielder (as per the Daily Mail) has largely been tipped to join either Los Blancos or City, who are in much superior sporting positions to the Merseyside-based club.
To the extent that Rio Ferdinand did not even mention Jurgen Klopp’s men in the discussion when predicting which club Bellingham will join on his YouTube channel.
Instead, he backed Pep Guardiola’s side to beat Carlo Ancelotti’s men to his coup.
The Reds are leading in the Bellingham race
According to a fresh update provided by Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk, Liverpool are the frontrunners in the race to sign Jude Bellingham in 2023.
Furthermore, Jurgen Klopp’s side are more advanced in the negotiations than Real Madrid to sign the gifted midfielder.
Interestingly, it has also been claimed that the player’s family are keener on a switch to Liverpool than Real Madrid.

From a pure sporting perspective, it is surprising to discover that Bellingham is likelier to join the English giants than the Spanish heavyweights.
However, the fact that they are is a blessing for Jurgen Klopp’s men, who must go all out to get the deal over the line.
If Liverpool beat Real Madrid to sign Jude Bellingham, as currently suggested by Christian Falk, they may end up signing a player that could define the 2020s.
